Terms of Website Use
These terms of website use (the "terms") tell you the rules for using our website at pier20.com (the "site"). They apply to everyone who visits, browses, or submits our demo request form.
By using the site, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms govern use of the site only. They are not customer or subscription terms and do not cover any product, service, or software we may offer commercially in the future.

3. Who the site is for
The site is aimed at investment, research, and financial-services professionals, i.e. the people and organisations who might use a research tool like PIER20. It is not directed at consumers or at anyone under 16.
The site is hosted in the United Kingdom, but visitors access it from around the world. We do not represent that anything on the site is appropriate, lawful, or available in your location. If you access the site from outside the UK, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
4. No financial, investment, or other advice
The content on the site is general marketing and information about PIER20. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to:
- buy, sell, or hold any investment;
- engage in any investment activity; or
- enter into any investment management or advisory relationship.

PIER20 Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and nothing on the site constitutes a financial promotion for the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
5. Using the site
You may browse, read, and link to the site for your personal, non-commercial research and to decide whether to contact us about PIER20.
When using the site (including the demo form), you agree that you will not:
- use the site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information via the demo form;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any system or database connected to it;
- introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or any other malicious or technologically harmful material;
- attack the site via a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the site; or
- use automated tools to scrape, mine, or extract content from the site without our written permission.
Any breach of the security provisions above may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report such breaches to law enforcement and cooperate with them, including by disclosing your identity.
6. Demo-form submissions
When you submit the demo request form, the information you provide is sent to us (via our form processor) so we can respond. We process that data as described in our Privacy Notice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for having any rights or consents needed to share information about others (for example, colleagues you mention).
7. Intellectual property rights
We own or licence all intellectual property rights in the site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, software, and design). Those rights are protected by copyright and other laws around the world.
You may print or download extracts from the site for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not:
- modify copies of any materials;
- use illustrations, photographs, or graphics separately from their accompanying text;
- use any part of the content for any commercial purpose without a licence from us;
- remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notice; or
- use the content to build a competing product or service.
Our name and logo are trademarks of PIER20 Ltd. Nothing on the site grants you any right to use them except as needed to identify us in honest, non-misleading ways (for example, linking to the homepage under clause 9).

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we give no warranty or representation that the content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose. Content may be changed or removed at any time without notice.
The site may include links to third-party websites and publications (for example, our writing on Substack). Those links are provided for information only. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

You may link to our homepage, provided the link is fair, legal, and does not suggest an association, endorsement, or approval by us where none exists. You must not frame, embed, or mirror the site within another website without our written permission.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms (and any non-contractual disputes arising from them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute: non-exclusive for consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland (who may also bring proceedings there), exclusive for all other users.
